Kent Centre Lifeskills – Meeting #3

The members of the Crazy Crafters met at Paul Campbell Trucking Boardroom, on May 9th at 7 o’clock. First, Hamna opened the meeting and we did the 4-H pledge. The roll call question was “Have you ever stencilled anything before? If so, what did you stencil?” Most people had because on the first meeting we did stencilling on wood.  We then did a Press Report update.  Next we talked about achievement day.  After this we read a paragraph about what stencilling is.  Then we started our project, which was stencilling a pillow case.  First we had to pick out a stencil and a colour that we liked on our pillows.  Next we laid our stencil on our pillow case and dabbed it with a little paint on our brush. If someone was using the same stencil as you, then you prepared for the next meeting by, painting a board, while you waited. The meeting was adjourned at 9:00.  The next meeting will be at Paul Campbell Trucking boardroom on the 16th at 7 o’clock.
